Application of cleanroom on zoonotic

What are zoonotic diseases?

Zoonotic diseases are a kind of disease that originate from animals and can infect people. They can be caused by viruses, bacteria, parasites, and fungi. Zoonotic diseases are not one kind of deseases, but they are considered as the a conbination of many diseases. Some typical zoonotic diseases are: "Bird flu," "Zika fever," "West Nile fever."

More information:

Zoonotics can be mild or very serious. They spread in people and animals and even can cause death. Healthy animals may also carry of zoonotic diseases.
Zoonotic diseases are common in the United States and around the world. Scientists estimate that more than 6 out of every 10 known disease infections in people are spread from animals, and 3 out of every 4 new or emerging infectious diseases in people are spread from animals. Every year, tens of thousands of Americans will get sick from diseases spread between animals and people. For more information, please visit:

What is a cleanroom?

A cleanroom is an environment with a low level of environmental pollutants such as dust, airborne microbes, aerosol particles, and chemical vapors.

More information:

A cleanroom can control the environmental pollutant instead of doing nothing. Cleanrooms control the environmental pollutant using airflow principles, and blow all the pollutant particles into the seive-like floor and then remove the polluant. The International Organization for Standardization set some standards for cleanrooms.
  1. Iso standard 1
  2. Iso standard 2
  3. How does it work?

So, what can cleanrooms do?

We can know there are following ways that the zoonotic desease can spread: (Here is the original source)
I believe using cleanrooms, we can control the pathogen in the air at a chicken farm. The virus often spread among chickens by aerosol, or the virus flows in air within small water droplets. Cleanrooms can acctually blow those small droplets into the floor instea of letting them flowing in air an landing on other chickens. Chicken living in the most farms are in bad air condition, pathongens float everywhere in air. When the first chicken develope a disease, the rest will be infected very soon. But with application of cleanrooms, the speed of infection will slow down, an it will be easier to discriminate the infected chicken and safe the rest of them.
